The Living Story turns a printed history book into something personal. A family scans a page — a chapter on a war, a migration, a decade — and sees the people and places in their own family tree who were actually there, drawn from the same genealogical record FamilySearch already holds on them.
No new research to do, nothing to type in by hand. The book already knows the history; this connects it to a family's own line, gently and only as far as the evidence allows.
Publishers curate books and the historical hooks inside them from a studio built for that work. Families read on their own printed copy, scanning pages as they go. Platform operators manage the publishers, contracts, and accounts that keep the whole thing running.
